Sila Thai Restaurant in Dusseldorf

Very pleasant atmosphere, beautiful interior. The dishes were excellent. The high prices are reasonable for the quality.

You are simply transported to another world in culinary terms. From the starter to the cocktail, everything was delicious. And the hygiene concept is also great (plexiglass panes between the tables).

Very tasty food in a reasonable price range on a good quality level. The staff is attentive but not intrusive, and very friendly. Cozy, modern and, as expected, traditional furnishings; the sanitary facilities are clean and tidy. All in all, absolutely recommendable.

It was good food but not great. The Thai sauce is well seasoned but not enough. The chicken is not crispy enough. The service could be better.

We ordered a full 3 course menu. When we're paying €80 per person, then are told the kitchen is closed so the lovely desert we expected, and still paid for, would be replaced by a scoop of ice cream, I was really disappointed. Don't take the reservation if you're closing before finished serving customers, or at least take the item off our bill if we don't receive it. Also, the "gemüse" menu is definitely not veg friendly which I found out by eating it. If it wasn't so trickily misleading I would have asked.. seems like false advertising. For these reasons I probably won't be back.

Despite a reservation, we had to wait 45 minutes for a table which, although there were six of us, was only suitable for four people. The food was good, the service was unfortunately rather unfriendly. For us it was the last visit to Sila Thai today. It's a shame, because we've always been very satisfied so far.

Very bad corona management! Despite a reservation we were only assigned a table 45 minutes (!) Later. The staff was totally overwhelmed and became unfriendly every hour. The food was really great. But in the end, the overall feeling outweighs the feeling that you weren't really welcome!

Very good food, friendly service. Upper price range. Just a shame you could only reserve for a two hour block ...

Best Thai in town

Super Thai restaurant in the heart of Düsseldorf on Bahnstrasse. The staff is very friendly, competent and attentive. The selection of food and drinks is very good. The restaurant is bright and welcoming, and it is very nicely decorated. I personally can only recommend the Sila Thai.

Have eaten here a few times. Nice place, good food and good service. There are a lot of Asian options in the area but this is more comfortable and stylish place than most. Update to 5 stars after visit 2020 - Truly a reliable high quality Thai food experience. Nice interior, quality service. Sila Thai deserves to stay and I look forward to coming again on my next visit to Düsseldorf.

Okay ... Just to get straight to the point. Here I ate the best Tom kah kai soup (spell this 😁) and yes ... I ate some ... Ever. Point of improvement ... let the chicken cook less well. Main course something with oyster sauce ... nah ... I gave a meager 7. Ambiance is very oriental and the stipulation good. Price for starter and main course for 2 persons and 4 drinks. I think 85 euros is good if you look at the total picture.

Lovely staff and beautiful food.

Unfortunately not the top restaurant it used to be. A few years ago you could enjoy the best Thai food in all of North Rhine-Westphalia here. In the meantime, most of the authentic dishes have been replaced by the standards of the usual Thai restaurants. Maybe it was too extravagant for Düsseldorf (what the farmer doesn't know ...) One or two highlights can still be found on the menu, but I don't have to go there for a red Thai curry. The interior is still terrific, and great effort has been made here. The staff is nice and accommodating. Incidentally, (as of 08/2020) we did not receive a note for the purpose of tracking the guests, for the purpose of Corona etc. Even when asked, they could not or would not understand us.

The restaurant is nicely designed and the staff quite friendly. The dishes are tasty and there is a large selection. The dishes and drinks are rather expensive. We ate there for two for € 88.

The food here is simply amazing. There is especially one dish called fish muted in lime sauce. Amazing.

Great food, level of sharpness is by German standards, extremely friendly staff and a very special atmosphere. The interior was specially imported from Thailand. Prices are quite substantial, but for Dusseldorf rather average, so perfectly fine.

It was an experience! 🤩 We chose the menu for two and it was just fantastic! Beautifully prepared and all dishes had a very special taste. Cooking is definitely different here than in most popular Thai restaurants ... The cocktails are delicious and the waitresses were super friendly. Sitting at a Thai table tops it off. Conclusion: We have had enough, happy and satisfied, to leave this restaurant and are a little annoyed that we unfortunately live so far away ...

Good food and ambience. But I think it’s too expensive in regards to value and portion.

Amazing restaurant that was recommended to me by hotel staff. The spring rolls were great and I loved the pad Thai with chicken, the drink which I forgot to mention was great too. Highly recommend this restaurant, just bear in mind these are set menus (at least for lunch)

Great restaurant! I think it's been around for over 10 years! Delicious cocktails, delicious food ... staff is super friendly! You get every extra wish fulfilled. Just don't understand why you have so few Google ratings? They are so important for the right people to see your restaurant.

So good! Some if the best Thai food in Düsseldorf. These are #905 & #907 from the lunch menuThey are currently only open till 3PM due to the virus. There were only 2 tables in use which is kinda sad cuz you needed reservations before.

most unfriendly , rude and disgusting attitude and customer service experience! unpleasant experience! they were closing for lunch but they let us in however they rushed us to choose the food and when we asked for recommendation for vegetarian food, they got annoyed that we we were taking too long and the waitress snapped and grabbed the menu from our hand and got very stroppy! never got to experience the food but staff are rude!

Very nice authentic ambience with Thai charm. The service was very courteous and attentive. The food was very tasty, maybe the shrimp were cooked too long. The cheese balls were great, the roast duck 🦆 too. The spring rolls were homemade. Price-wise but reasonable for the large portions. Reservation is recommended.

Food was great, especially starters. Service good. Menu a bit limited if you're not up to three-chilli options. Also illegible for those in glasses denial. Glad I wasn't paying.

The restaurant is very well decorated. After entering you feel like you are in Thailand. The interior was made with great effort and attention to detail. The toilets are also clean and well-kept. It is getting a bit old and you can see that sometimes. But it's still very nice. A big compliment also to the staff which does a very good job. The food tastes very good! If you like to eat Thai and also like in a nice atmosphere, this is the place for you.

For me the best Thai restaurant in Düsseldorf. Not only the atmosphere is special and sophisticated here, but also the kitchen with its many fresh aromas and delicious spices, extraordinary ingredients and combinations of the dishes. I would recommend the menu if you go there for two. The service is polite, friendly and reserved. The prices are more in the upper range, so this is more of a restaurant for special occasions and not for every day. The lunch table is already available for 14 euros with a small starter. Overall, the food, atmosphere and service are always very good. I can recommend it without reservation.

Very nice traditional thai restaurant. N155 desert is amazing

The food is interesting here, big portions and well served, however service is bad, personal were trying to take dishes before we have finished eating, and moving chairs while people are sitting on them. That was annoying. However can be just our bad luck with specific waiter.

It is my first time here. The atmosphere is very Thai. The smells and big flower decorations let me feels like in the Thailand. The menu is well designed because every dishes has the signals for how much spicy it will be. Except for the normal drinks, they also have alcohol free cocktails. Even one of the drinks is serviced in the wood elephant figure cups. We order shrimp salad, green curry with lamm and also fish with chili. The salad is in sweet sour and little spicy sauce, the shrimps are fried in the right time. Very delicious. The green curry is also are great choice, with the smells of coconut milk it services with rice. One the top of fish is in the green chilli and sour soup, it is much spicy than expected but delicious.
